The Désilets rods have obviously this double characteristic to be very resistant to tension and to break with in a quarter turn when it is necessary to strip. The amazing stability of these two properties constitutes the third element on which you can count on , boxes after boxes, when you choose our stems.

And to be certain, we employ several measures: our buying specifications that are among the strictest; a constant control of the composition of the steel and, in particular, of its contents in manganese/carbon we also have a program checking its aptitudes under tension and with torsion. With Désilets rods, you will never have nasty surprise.

Metal stem rod

Type 1034MD Steel rods with a diameter of 7 mm.

Tension resistance higher than 5,680 pounds.

Worked to avoid whirling in the concrete, to stabilize them in place and to support an exact breaking.

Metal rod with cones

Gives a beautiful finishing and is used especially to avoid the water infiltrations. The cone is removed with the rod by leaving a conical hole facilitating plastering when the stem is broken. Patent #2034584.

Special steel rod specialy used to consolide a 8'', 10'' or 12'' corner wall.

Special Styrofoam Rod

Special rod provided with iron plates welded on the rod used to keep the insulating material well placed in the center of the concrete wall. This rod is offered in all lengths and with or without a cone.
